Skin Tags Are Not Cancerous!
A skin tag is not cancer so you can relax, everything will be ok. Skin Tags are just a soft, skin-colored growth that hangs from the skin by a thin piece of tissue called a "stalk". AKA: "Acrochordon." They are quite common, doctors remove more than a million each year. If you are not sure what a skin tag looks like; here are some great skin tag pictures. Where do skin tags come from?? Well, skin tags usually appear on us as we age. They are actually quite common when you get over age 60. They are also more common in women than in men. Research shows that if your Mom or Dad had them you will too. How do you remove a skin tag?? Read on. Are they a serious problem? Skin tags can be a problem because the location of the tag may be irritated by the constant rubbing of clothing or jewelry or if the tag is on the eye or in the nose. Skin tags appear most often on the neck - inside tiny folds. Other common locations for skin tags are the armpits, beneath the breasts or in the genital region. They can also be located on places like the hands and face where they can be unsightly.

Have your Skin Tags Changed?? When a skin tag first appears - it is as a tiny soft bump on the skin. Over time, it grows into a less than attractive skin tag. A skin tag is painless, although after a few hours in the wrong clothes they can be rubbed raw. Anyone can recognize a skin tag easily by looking at it. A skin tag's characteristic appearance is soft, easily moveable, flesh-colored or slightly darker and usually attached to the skin surface by a stalk, you don't need any expert to point one out. Skin tags are easy to move or wiggle back and forth, BUT, If you notice that a skin growth is too firm to be wiggled easily, is a different color than surrounding skin, is multicolored or has raw or bleeding areas, ask your doctor to examine it. If it is not obvious that your skin growth is a skin tag, your doctor may want to do a biopsy, which means they will use a scaplel to remove a small piece of skin that will be examined in a laboratory. How to Prevent Skin TagsThere is no way to prevent skin tags. Your doctor can cut them off with sharp scissors, a sharp blade or, less commonly, by freezing or burning them off at the stalk. Bleeding can be stopped with a chemical (aluminum chloride) or electric (cauterizing) treatment which can hurt and leave a scar. Skin tag removal is considered a cosmetic problem so only the best insurance will pay for their removal. Average Doctor's fees for removing skin tags is $125.00
Removing Skin TagsSkin tags never go away unless you have them removed. There are several ways to remove them - some surgical - some natural, you take your pick. The US Navy Medical Guidelines uses a rather brute approach: "After cleansing skin, grasp apex of tag with forceps and cut the base with sharp scissors level with the normal skin. No anesthesia is requried and bleeding is controlled with pressure..."

Another method of Skin Tag Removal is an all natural remedy made from Bloodroot. This is an old Native American remedy for curing all kinds of skin disorders especially skin tags and moles. It is a pain free way to remove skin tags. This remedy was all but lost for more than two centuries but, it has been rediscovered just a few short years ago. TESTIMONIAL LETTER:: DermaTend User
Like most people I am very skeptical, unless a product is referred by a friend who has used it before, I will be more apt to give it a try, well, DermaTend wasn't, I was just surfing on the web and came across it, and I gave it a shot anyway. I mean how bad could it be, if they guarantee it 100% and with that, if it turned out to be false, I could get my money back or sue, if they were crooks. Well, neither turned out to be the case.
I don't usually do the testimonial thing, I figured people are paid to do these things. Hey, I told you I'm a skeptic. Anyway, I tried it, nothing happened, I was tempted to get my money back, but instead I sent an email and told them that I was impatient but I just wasn't seeing any results. I got a return email about two days later telling me what I was doing wrong and to try it another way, I did, I gave it one last shot, because in the back of my head I kept saying why would they guarantee it if it really didn't work.
Well I am here to tell you that after about 3-4 days, I was riding along and I felt something fall, I looked around but I didn't know what it was, then I adjusted the rearview mirror, as I often do anyway, because I'm kind of vain, I can admit it, and low and behold it hit me just like that the skin tag which had been a part of my neck for as long as I can remember had fallen off. It was about the size of a watermelon seed and it would just hang there, often getting in the way of my pretty necklaces I would put on, and it would be a fascination to babies especially to reach for and pull, but not anymore.
It is gone, but since then I have put the paste on different other skin tags on my body that are not noticeable under my clothes. I will admit when you are all bandaged up from band aids it kind of feel like a game of tic-tac-toe on the body, but it is worth it when you see how wonderful it is to have them gone. Just thought I would pass this on to other skeptics such as myself. Try DermaTend, what do you have to lose? Thanks

Monday 9:00 AM
Dear concerned friend,
I know you must not be happy with skin tags on your body. They can be difficult and painful to live with. Whether it is physical or emotional pain, you don't want anyone to see them or touch them. It's just too embarrassing.
If you're like me, you probably spend a lot of time worrying about how to cover them up - under long sleeves (turning out all the lights), giving up bathing suits and shorts. But all that is about to change.
For me, one thing I especially dreaded was going swimming in public places. You see, I suffered from really bad moles on my chest, stomach and back; and the skin tags on my neck were a real pain.
So, I understand what it's like to live day in and day out with less than perfect skin. And when I say less than perfect, I'm not talking about a few freckles or minor moles. As you well know, this is not about vanity. No, I'm talking about skin problems that no matter how big or small affect your self-esteem, and limit you in life. Believe me; you're not in this by yourself.
Though, if you're like me, you probably feel alone a lot of the time. And, as we find all too often, it even feels like doctor's and modern medicine has abandoned us, doesn't it? Sure, there is always expensive surgery, but it doesn’t always work out, and you will always be left with an unsightly scar. What’s worse is there are no guarantees or back up plan, when the skin tags come back; you have to waste more money.
Bloodroot changed all that for me. My moles and skin tags are gone and there isn't a scar to show for it. I know it worked for me in just days and I guarantee it will work for you too. This remedy will change your life permanently. No more skintags!

Bloodroot Skin Tag Remover Acclaimed by Doctor
Dr. Andrew Weil:
On Bloodroot
"One alternative to these procedures that I can suggest is using bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis), a small woodland herb that grows in the north central United States and Canada. The red juice from the root is poisonous when taken internally, but used externally has a unique ability to dissolve abnormal growth without disturbing normal tissue. You can buy bloodroot in powdered form or as a paste, apply it to the growth you want to remove and then cover with a bandage. Be sure to follow package directions carefully and use bloodroot with caution.”
Bloodroot is just one of the all-natural herbal ingredients used in the DermaTend product. Please visit Dr. Weil's Web Site for other Natural Cures.

Skin Cancer Information -
Moles & Skin Cancer
Skin cancer effects more than a million people each year in America alone, worldwide it is estimated that 10 million new cases appear each year. Experts say more than one in 5 Americans will get skin cancer in the course of a lifetime... that adds up; by 2010, "Melanoma" is projected to rise to one in 50 Americans.
The incidence of this type of skin cancer, the deadliest form of skin cancer, is rising faster than that of any other form of cancer. One person dies every hour from skin cancer, primarily the melanoma type of skin cancer. Here is one stat that is shocking. There are more new cases of skin cancer each year than the combined incidence of cancers of the prostate, breast, lung, and colon. The only bright light in the tunnel is, most of the things that pop up on our bodies as we age; the moles, the skin tags, etc are nothing to worry about, and they can be removed with natural mole removers or laser surgery.
American Skin Cancer Information Network says "more than 90 percent of all skin cancers are caused by "sun exposure", yet most people still use no form of sun protection; less than 33 percent of adults, adolescents, and children routinely use sun protection." The majority of people diagnosed with the melanoma form of skin cancer are "White Men over age 50."
Skin cancer is the #1 cancer that hits men over age 50, way ahead of prostate, lung and colon cancer. Middle-aged and older men have the poorest track record for performing monthly skin self exams or regularly visiting a dermatologist. They are also the least likely individual to detect a melanoma in its early stages. While this type of skin cancer is uncommon in African-Americans, Asians, and Latinos, it is most deadly for these populations.
Melanoma also kills more young women under the age of 40 than any other cancer. In the past thirty years, skin cancer has tripled in women in America. The incidence of melanoma is increasing so rapidly in women that it is now the most common cancer in young women aged 25-29, and second only to breast cancer in women aged 30-34.
New research out on skin cancer and its causes revealed that one type of ray - the "UVA" causes more genetic damage than the other"UVB" rays. These UVB rays harm skin cells where most skin cancers arise – the keratinocytes in the basal layer of the epidermis. The UVB rays tend to cause damage in more superficial epidermal layers. If all you have is a mole, skintag or wart, you can have your doctor remove it with a scalpel or laser; or better yet, you can easily remove it with all natural DermaTend.
